Mingfang Knitting Co., Ltd., a leading exporter of socks, has announced the strategic acquisition of Yiwu Boo In Apparel Co., Ltd., which will now operate as a wholly owned subsidiary. Going forward, Boo In Apparel will focus on manufacturing high-quality underwear for Mingfang’s global clients.
This move marks a significant step in Mingfang’s evolution from a specialized sock manufacturer to a comprehensive intimate apparel supplier. With years of experience in underwear design and agile production, Boo In Apparel brings valuable capabilities that complement Mingfang’s existing strengths in sustainability, customization, and international trade.
“A socks and underwear share similar end-users, distribution channels, and sustainability requirements,” said a Mingfang representative. “By integrating Boo In Apparel into our group, we can offer our overseas partners a broader, more responsive product portfolio—delivering greater value through one-stop sourcing.”
The two companies will now align closely on green manufacturing practices, smart production systems, international compliance (e.g., OEKO-TEX, GRS), and co-developed custom programs to build a competitive, export-oriented intimate apparel platform.
